Dinner Sessions (2021–2023)
Our Sunday evenings are centred on our Dinner Sessions, for which we invite you to take a seat at our table for a night of rendezvous and delicious food.
Join us for inspiring evening carefully balancing delicious meals and enlightening conversations. With diverse menus prepared by talented guest chefs and new encounters with those around you, there’s always something to discover at our weekly Dinner Sessions.
Our Dinner Sessions are inspired by Gordon Matta-Clark’s artist-run restaurant FOOD, which flourished in New York in the 1970s. Accordingly, The Grey Space invites artists and food enthusiasts to come and cook affordable meals as a form of artistic and social expression. Each Dinner Session is a unique experience, with a different guest chef preparing a special menu according to their own concept brought to our kitchen.
Our Dinner Sessions have developed quite a bit since we first introduced them in 2021. They first took place on Thursdays, but this was changed at the start of 2022, as we believed the Dinner Sessions to be a perfect fit for a Sunday due to its warm, uniting and laid-back feeling. For every Dinner Sessions edition in 2022, the meal was accompanied by the pleasant tunes of a guest DJ, and invited you for a dance after dinner. At the start of 2023, we shifted the focus back the communal aspect, and thus on celebrating the joy of being together, thereby excluding the feature of DJs.
