Dinner at The Grey Space – Week 42
Each week The Grey Space serves a different menu by our very own chef Julio Salsiccia or by invited guest chefs and food initiatives or restaurants. DJs are invited to provide a musical outline on Thursdays.
On Wednesday’s menu is Ikan Pepesan, smoked mackerel packets wrapped in pisang leaf from the oven by Ome Steef.
Served with yellow rice, emping and fried onion and with Tahoe Ketoprak and Atjar Ketimoen on the side.
And mango ice cream with coconut for dessert.
There’s a vegan option with tempeh instead of mackerel.
No better guest chef for this Dinner Session during De Haagse Popweek than musician, DJ and allround music hero from The Hague Janneke Nijhuijs.
She’ll make a delicious green Thai curry with lots of vegetables, cashew nuts & pandan rice. There’s a vegan option, a veggie option with soft boiled eggs and an option with chicken available. And if you still have some space left there’s an optional coconut, lime, sesame ice cream dessert.
DJ Djossie van de Straat will be behind the decks, to complete this Haagse Popweek Dinner Session experience.
Price: €13-€21, depending on your menu choice and if you add dessert.
Donny’s elaborate Indonesian ‘rijsttafel’ is what’s on the menu this Friday.
On your table will be oesih made from tempeh, tomato lalab, nasi kuning, tahoe goreng, atjar, emping and sereoendeng. And of course spekkoek for dessert.
- Dinner is (usually) served on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 18:30 and 21:00.
