Dinner Session: Yacinth Pos + Dim Garden

Fri 24 June
18.30–22.00

Presented by The Grey Space in the Middle

Another week, another dinner session. Join us for an inspiring evening carefully balancing delicious food and pleasant tunes into the night.

Inspired by artist Gordon Matta-Clark’s restaurant FOOD, which existed in the 1970s in New York, The Grey Space invites people to come and cook affordable meals as an artistic and social expression during our weekly Dinner Sessions. DJs will guide the evening musically and make you dance after dinner.

This week Yacinth Pos takes cooking with local ingredients to a whole new level, while Dim Garden is be responsible for the musical outline.

Menu

For this Dinner Session Yacinth Pos investigates the surroundings of The Grey Space in the Middle. What often overlooked edible flora can she find in just a 500 meter radius around our space? In preparation for the dinner she will be exploring the neighbourhood and compose a tasting menu including multiple edible wild plants.

Cooking Yace

Yacinth Pos is a designer and chef who explores social narratives in topics often revolving around food. In her interwoven design and cooking practice she questions deep-rooted standards by experimenting with new dining experiences. On a daily basis you can find her strolling through nature, foraging for wild edible plants and flowers.

Dim Garden

Captivated by the North Sea, its dune landscape and surrounding dark forests, Dim Garden‘s musical endeavors expand into swampy synthesis, gothic electronic experimentation, and field recordings.
