Dinner Session: Inari + KI/IP

Sun 28 August

Another week, another dinner session. Join us for an inspiring evening carefully balancing delicious food and pleasant tunes into the night.

DJs will guide the evening musically and make you dance after dinner.

Yoshinari Nishiki

Inari (Yoshinari Nishiki) is an artist based in Rotterdam. His work explores the entanglement of economics and ecology, with a recent focus on invasive species (IS). For Inari, IS poses a mode of existence of resource that is abundant in this ever finite era. For example, he made the energy drink EROI from Japanese knotweed. By collaborating with water management companies and a nature conservation organisation within the NL, he sourced what he calls “unpolluted strains” which is the main ingredient of the drink.

Inari is familiar face at The Grey Space as he was an artist-in-residence, has previously hosted Dinner Sessions and released his invasive Japanese knotweed based energy drink, EROI at The Grey Space.

KI/IP

KI/IP is an elektro/ghetto DJ based in The Hague. While he started DJing for fun in his studio, he steadily grew as an artist and played at numerous house parties and raves. Expect crunchy breakbeats with electronic sounds and dirty rap lyrics. Albeit slightly more downtempo for this contect.
