Dinner Session: Karina Zavidova + Katarina Petrović

Sun 18 September
17.00–23.00

Another week, another dinner session. Join us for an inspiring evening carefully balancing delicious food and pleasant tunes.

Inspired by artist Gordon Matta-Clark’s restaurant FOOD, which existed in the 1970s in New York, The Grey Space invites people to come and cook affordable meals as an artistic and social expression during our weekly Dinner Sessions. DJs will guide the evening musically and make you dance after dinner.

This Sunday’s Dinner Session Karina Zavidova prepares dinner, while Katarina Petrović is responsible for the tunes.

Menu

Karina’s menu is centred around alliums, a genus of plants that consists of hundreds of species and includes onion, garlic, scallion, shallot, leek, chives also decorative varieties. Wikipedia says: The generic name Allium is the Latin word for garlic, and the type species for the genus is Allium sativum which means “cultivated garlic”.

You will get two types of vegan leek quiche served with a green salad with oven-roasted garlic dressing. And with onion rings in beer batter on the side.

Price: €12,50

Katarina Petrović

Katarina Petrović is an interdisciplinary artist working with language, generative systems, sound and light phenomena that she combines to create experimental poetry that is written by human, machine and natural proceses simultaneously. Her works are often systems, procedural works that are presented as modular installations, books and performances in an offline and online space. She also makes and plays music – but it’s been a while. This will be her first set after a few silent years and she’s happy to bring you her newfound love of medieval music accompanied with her signature combination of electronics and spoken word.
