Under the guidance of members of the Haagse Nachtraad, the seven candidates for the title of Nachtburgemeester – Tyrone Ezebuife, Brenda Grund, Elias van Hees, Lotte Ottevanger, Vini Rauwerda, Max Vogel and Julianne Wever – will take the stage to debate.
They will discuss the most pressing challenges and possible solutions for nightlife in The Hague, drawing on the city’s Nachtvisie, the Nachtpact, as well as their own ideas and ideals.
The position of Night Mayor is an independent cultural role found in several cities worldwide. It serves as a bridge between the nightlife community, local residents, and policymakers – giving the night a voice in city politics and cultural life.
