STONEWALL is a new activist queer festival taking place in The Hague on 7 November. The name refers to the Stonewall riots of June 1969, when police stormed the Stonewall Inn in New York and the people inside refused to leave quietly. Six days of riots followed, sparking the global fight for LGBTQ+ rights and the birth of Pride.

Nearly sixty years later, much has changed, but there is still a long way to go. STONEWALL brings people together to celebrate queer joy, honour those who fought before and discuss what comes next.

After a day of music, activism and conversation, the festival continues with an afterparty at The Grey Space. ARTÉMIS, Doppelgang and Vera Moro take over the decks for a night co-curated by Parish.

Come as you are. Dance for those who fought, for those still fighting, and for yourself.
