Rewire 2021 – Offline Edition – Proximity Music
Hosted by: iii + Rewire
After presenting an extensive online edition in May, the international festival for adventurous music Rewire returns with an intimate offline edition on 10, 11, 12 & 18 September. The four day event will be providing a taste of it’s regular festival, offering a snapshot of the full experience.
Alongside a diverse range of new names and rescheduled artists from Rewire 2020, are a few in-person performances by artists from the online edition in May.
Rewire collaborates with artist run platform iii to present Proximity Music, a tour of installations scattered across The Hague which engage with the senses and the body, with instruments and machines, with ritual and play. Featuring artists: Gorkem Arikan, Hans Beckers, Budhaditya Chattopadhyay, Cathy van Eck, EJTECH, Sol Ey, Laurie Spiegel & Mark Fell, Mariska de Groot, Kunrad and Pelle Schilling.
At The Grey Space you will find Time and Space Shapes for Gamelan, an interactive installation by Laurie Spiegel & Mark Fell and Singing Sparks, a sound sculpture and film by Görkem Arikan, Batuhan Keskiner and İbrahim Tokkaya.
