ACHTERBAN Fusing contemporary art with nightlife and brings a rich musical landscape to your local gallery. They see art disciplines as different ingredients waiting to be combined into interesting flavors. By working together with creatives and artists, ACHTERBAN strives to design a temporary art utopia within the constraints of a venue.
This Saturday ACHTERBAN brings their artistic fantasy to The Grey Space with a blend of art, performances, live music and DJ-sets. On the ground floor you can experience an exhibition with work by FEEBLE, Jolande Venema, Luke Spiering, Minne Ponsen, Nathalie Mannaerts, Niels Goslings and Noa, while Kavian and Tobias from Eyes Wide Shut, O;Riordan and Lorey provide the music.
Emma Blom and Paula Arrocha will be performing “Inner landscapes” in which they explore the limits of music, literature, audio and visuals by Arisca Smeele starting 17.00. And at 22.00 the doors to the basement will open for a DJ-set filled with 90’s electro and techno by jannah, a live performance by electro band Staatseinde and pumping yet abstract electronics by the Rotterdam based DJ and collector Stijn Verweij.
