Scenius: Club Hits Different

Come by for a night of great sound as collective Club HD returns to our The Grey Space for their second Scenius event. The basement trembles to its core with the energetic and punk music delivered by LUzA CULT, mesin slat, and Ark(x).
Glasgow/Rotterdam-based duo LUzA CULT kicks off with an energetic punk-trap live set, followed by Ark(x) for a post-DJ set, and mesin slat transitions to bitcrushed breaks for closing duties.
Club HD is a queer-led collective and club night series devoted to challenging the current status quo within the Dutch club scene. They aim to provide a space where DJs feel completely free to be curious, inventive, and uncompromising in their approach, in order to transcend the normative notion of what a club night is supposed to sound or look like. Expect silly, hard, experimental, mind-bending, genre-defying sounds and a whole lot of fun!

The weekly club concept is inspired by the term scenius with which Brian Eno describes the creative intelligence of a community. A myriad of music initiatives with an interest in community building are offered a three-month residency, inviting them to expand their scene. Scenius aims to be an accessible and eclectic club experience where you can hang out, listen and dance.
