NDT Club: The After

Join the official afterparty of NDT 2 performing Illuminate for the last time in The Hague. A banging DJ line-up and the screening of dance film Mist by Damien Jalet will move both heart and feet.
After NDT 2 performs ‘Illuminate’ at Amare, with works by Micaela Taylor, Jermaine Spivey and Nadav Zelner, artists and guests meet at The Grey Space. Immerse yourself in the world of Damien Jalet’s dance film ‘Mist,’ presented as an installation, or head downstairs to dance during an electrifying clubnight.
For this night, two powerhouses jump behind the decks to kick the party into gear. First off is Naone, based in Amsterdam but originally from Korea, whose fast mixes are best described as futuristic and funky. Up next is grittygun, a native of The Hague, often found selecting and stacking records at the local record store 3345. But this night, he fills the basement with pumping, energetic, and gritty sounds.

Fog banks, wind and flowing hypnotic movements. Mist by Damien Jalet is visual stunning, kinetic and thought provoking. The film was created in collaboration with Japanese visual artist Kohei Nawa and videographer Rahi Rezvan
A triple bill by NDT 2 that turns the spotlight on three young choreographers. Michaela Taylor questions the role of power in our fast-paced world. Jermaine Spivey presents a composed improvisation, soundscapes, and an uncompromising robotic voice. And Nadav Zelners ‘Bedtime story’ is a playful and high energy exploration of the edges of the imagination.
