OPEN DEUR Festival is a night about boundaries, consent, sexuality and safer nightlife. Taking place on Saturday 3 October at The Grey Space, the event brings together conversation, education, art and nightlife in a program that is both thoughtful and playful.
The evening starts with a panel discussion exploring different perspectives on intimacy and safety in nightlife. We’ll talk about flirting, consent, self-love, victim blaming, shared responsibility and how to communicate and respect boundaries.
OPEN DEUR features workshops, expos, a market with local makers. During the panel, KLUB will serve an affordable community meal. The program highlights local initiatives within the theme, creating a safe space not only to learn, but also to meet, explore and exchange ideas. Feverdream takes over the conversation by hosting the clubnight in the basement.
Open Deur is for everyone who wants to contribute to a safer, more inclusive night culture. The aim is to offer concrete tools and perspectives that can be taken beyond the event and into the night.

Open Deur is a collab between Studio Ongepast, Loslippig and De Haagse Nachtraad. Three initiatives working at the intersection of culture, society and nightlife.
Studio Ongepast, founded by Safiye Janson and Lotte Ottevanger, uses art and education to raise awareness around social issues, challenge taboos and open up conversations. Through immersive and thought-provoking experiences, they turn complex social themes into something you can see, feel and engage with.
Loslippig, founded by Imre Fekkes, creates warm and accessible spaces for open conversations about sexuality. Through a playful and inclusive approach, Loslippig aims to make it easier to talk about sex, boundaries, desire and everything in between, without shame or judgement.
De Haagse Nachtraad advocates for a vibrant, inclusive and diverse nightlife in The Hague. They support nightlife makers and visitors, explore the culture and identity of the city after dark, and work with the municipality to ensure that nightlife has a lasting place in local policy.
Together, the three organisations bring different perspectives and experiences to Open Deur, creating a space where art, education, conversation and nightlife come together.
