Crush the Rush

Crush the Rush is an epic battle between the 25 best and fastest cafés in the Netherlands. The contest challenges the teams to battle head-to-head against each other. In 5 rounds, they will be tested to serve 4 different coffees faster than their opponent, while undergoing different challenges in every round. Each round, a new surprise will await the competitors to increase the difficulty. For one night, it’ll all be about coffee – we’ll be tasting, judging, pouring, and talking coffee all night long! In addition, Oatly will organize a fun surprise game.
Crush the Rush combines focus on bar flow efficiency, technology, and fun! Teams will need to optimize their workflow, roles, and responsibilities in order to improve their speed. Which team will survive and win the title of Crush the Rush champion 2025?
This year’s organization is made up the golden team: La Marzocco NL (Espresso Service West & Alleborgh), Roast Factory, Single Estate Coffee Roasters and Oatly. Together, they aim to bring more fun back into the coffee world and create a place where fun and passion come together all night long. Let’s talk coffee!
This year’s location will be The Grey Space in The Middle in The Hague, the hometown of ESW, Roast Factory & Single Estate. Not participating? Bring your friends, families, strangers you met on the train ride over, neighbours or colleagues and support the participating teams. Everyone is welcome!
