Museumnacht Den Haag is a collaborative effort involving the Stichting Haagse Museumnacht, Donkergroen creators, and various museums and cultural institutions in The Hague, Scheveningen, and Voorburg. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to explore all the participating museums using a single entrance ticket. Upon presenting your e-ticket at the designated information points (to be announced soon), you will be provided with a wristband granting you access to all the participating museums and the entire program of events.
Dance collective OFFprojects joins forces with electronic music platform INDEx for a hybrid performance and club night. Especially for Museum Night, the two collectives present a mix of dance interventions, DJ sets, and live analog visuals.
Multimedia artist Tina Farifteh presents the interim results of her research on empathy, driven by the question of whether there is a way for people to continue to hear each other amidst extreme violence, suffering, dehumanization, oppression, injustice, sorrow, and overheated emotions.
In his latest ‘living installation,’ theater maker and visual artist Dries Verhoeven delves into the theme of shoplifting. In an era where showcasing our virtuous behavior is the norm, Verhoeven shifts the focus to the socially undesirable. How exemplary are we truly when we think no one is watching? Everything must go—but at what cost?
