Sonic Thresholds
An exploration of interactive and immersive music, and a safe space for collective exploration and communication.
In Sonic Thresholds, we look for innovative ideas that enhance audience interaction and investigate new developments in contemporary music. By inviting artists to curate, collaborate and organize with their peers, we aim to support makers to develop their craft and expand their network by creating collective experiences. We hold space for energy and possibility in a safe environment, where music is communication. Where we seek radical relationality and dialogue, where we think together.
Music is a tool for communication and at The Grey Space, we seek to enhance the interaction with the audience. Every guest curator takes their own spin on this through presenting their own concept and inviting particular musical artists.

In 2023, several editions of Sonic Thresholds took place, each with a different curator. Our curators were: Yessica Deira, Stephanie Pan, Jelle Hamstra. More editions are coming in the Fall.
