Presented by The Grey Space

Unfortunately this event has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.

To properly wrap up Constant Dullaart’s Open Space residency and his research into tools, we invite you one last time to Studio Dull, for a concert by The Names played remotely in Common.Garden.

The Names, a Berlin/Amsterdam collective of musicians-composers who play a spectrum of improvisational strategies and open compositions, perform a piece composed by Koen Nutters for this closing event of the Open Space Residency. In performing CKWD (Constant Dullaart), Seamus Cater plays the chromatic harmonica, Koen Nutters the acoustic bass guitar, Germaine Sijstermans plays both BB and bass clarinets, and Gert-Jan Prins performs with all kinds of percussion.

Open Space: Constant Dullaart – Studio Dull

From September 9th until December 18th, artist Constant Dullaart is the Open Space resident at The Grey Space. Dullaart initiates new work and exchanges knowledge around his artistic research into the authorship hidden in protocols, systems, and tools. For this, part of The Grey Space will be transformed into the broadcasting station Studio Dull. The radio broadcasts are prepared by the editorial team, consisting of Ruby Lee (artist), Marijke Cobbenhagen (artistic lead of The Grey Space), and Constant Dullaart.
