Tabaria Cafe invites you to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Palestinian culture, aiming to help Palestinians in exile reconnect with their roots and for people to learn about Palestinian heritage, aiming to build a space to grieve and embrace Palestinian culture together.

Tabaria Cafe offers different cultural corners to explore Palestinian art, henna and jagua, embroidery (tatreez), literature and merchandise while trying delicious food (with a menu inspired by Levantine cuisine) and coffee. At 17.00 performances start, showcasing talented Palestinian and MENA region spoken-word artists, poets, and musicians, alongside artists exhibiting their works.

A percentage of the profits will be donated to the Palestine Humanitarian Response.

Program
  • 12.00–16.00: day program, focusing on the cafe and businesses promoting Palestinian culture.
  • 17.00–21.00: evening program with cafe and live performances.

 

Practical Information

Both The Grey Space and the cafe open at 12.00, the event ends at 21.00. There will be a break from 16.00-17.00.

Tabaria

Founded by Fatima, a Palestinian born in exile, driven by a desire to reconnect with her roots and build a safe space where people can connect through coffee, food, and culture, Tabaria Cafe has volunteers from all different nationalities united in their solidarity with Palestine.

Tabaria Cafe commits to donating 50% of the proceeds to Palestine Humanitarian Response, with the other 50% going back into creating future pop-ups, making Tabaria Cafe a non-profit organization.
