A night of shoegaze and post-punk with live performances by The City Gates (Canada), Resplandor (Den Haag), Death By Audio (Rotterdam) and DJ Dragnet spinning the best shoegaze and post punk on vinyl.
Noise Reverie is hosted by Automatic Music, a concert promoter and record label currently based in The Hague. Having developed the Automatic Noise Festival in Amsterdam, whose last edition on January 20th was a sold-out show, Automatic Music is now on the road to the new 2025 edition, presenting various side shows.
- The City Gates (Canada)
Hailing from Montreal, Canada, post-punk-gaze darkwave The City Gates carves out a name for themselves within the alternative scene with their awaited Age of Resilience LP, released on their own label Velouria Recordz and in collaboration with Icy Cold Records. The City Gates also released a previous acclaimed album in 2018 Forever Orbiter with Northern Light Records.
- Resplandor (Den Haag)
Based in the Netherlands, Resplandor has a long history in the indie/shoegaze scene. Their new album ‘Tristeza’ is produced and mixed by Cocteau Twins’s Robin Guthrie, and has been included in several lists around the world among the best albums of 2022. Resplandor has opened shows for The Cure, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Slowdive, The House Of Love, Ulrich Schnauss, The Radio Dept. among others.
- Death by Audio (Rotterdam)
Death By Audio offers full-throttle rides through desolate guitar landscapes, creating a haunting, intrusive sound that likes to get under your skin. These four Dutch lads know how to engage and excite with their post-rock and post-punksoaked shoegaze. Their latest EP “Beautiful Parasite” showcases their sound well; boisterous, dazzling lovesongs packed with autumnal dejection.
