ME MONUMENTA! is a solo performance created by Karine Guizzo and performed by Lorenzo Capodieci. In the context of Open Monumentendag the performance will be presented at multiple locations in The Hague.
Guizzo’s inspiration comes from nature -where males flaunt their “parure” in colorful seduction to attract females- but also from the extravagant drag shows with all their lavish looks and acts. The performance is an experimental composition of dance and visual art celebrating “humans as monuments’’.
