Visit ‘Everything is Before Now is Everything’, an exhibition showcasing the art of ten emerging artists. The recent KABK alumni organized this as an act of taking matters into their own hands now they are no longer in the safety of the academy. Come by to see their first steps on this wondrous ride. Because when everything is before, now is everything.
This exhibition mirrors the situation emerging artists are placed into; strange, unpredictable, varied– and perhaps even random. Throughout the production, the ten recent graduates try to find their way in their common moment of what comes ‘after the now’. Per the exhibition, they search for togetherness in their shared position: in between the academy and the museum. Their practices are immensely varied, from sculptures and drawings to installations and performances. During the four-day run of the exhibition, visitors are invited to wander through the countless expressions of personal interest, desire, and quest.
