Join But What About Sessions for an intimate evening of music, experimentation, and good company!

The But What About Sessions are designed to create a safe, creative space for curious musicians and listeners from and around The Hague. A place where you can meet each other, exchange ideas, try out new things and where unexpected collaborations can emerge.

During this edition of the BWA Sessions, we welcome two groups:

One of them is Share a Folk Song: a group that comes together every month to sing songs from different regions of the world. After a shared warm-up, we dive into songs from all over the globe: from Spanish to Japanese, from Persian to Ukrainian. Everyone is welcome and no singing experience is needed. Feel free to bring your instrument!

Ear to the Earth Ensemble will present a sneak peek of Weerwerk, their new children’s performance. Did you know that behind every weather presenter there is a weather worker? Without even knowing it, their forecasts only come true because weather workers make the weather happen. Ruth Mareen and Porter Ellerman take you into a funny musical world where cactuses sing, rain falls and your help is urgently needed!
