The Velcro Fest

20.00—23.00
€8,50—€14,50

Hosted by Yummy & Velcro

Three bands ready to take over The Grey Space for one night, welcome to The Velcro Fest!

Straight out of the gritty industrial heart of Dordrecht comes Yummy. This is intense, psychedelic post-punk for the 21st century.

Expect spacey sounds fused with pounding, metallic beats and swirling guitars. Lyrics that get under your skin, the kind you’ll find yourself shouting in your local supermarket the next day!

The second band of the evening is THE VELCRO.

HEY, HO, VELCRO!
A fresh and diverse sound bursts through the speakers when you hear THE VELCRO.

With a unique blend of Psychedelic Surf-Punk, this band from The Hague delivers a mysterious vibe that makes you want to move and grin from ear to ear. Their energy is infectious, and the crowd can’t help but feel it.

You might ask, “What is VELCRO?” But if you want the short version, it’s easier to ask:
“What isn’t VELCRO?!”

The final act of the evening is Kate Oram. Alternative, long hair, electric UK rave hip hoppy, she hits high notes, raps her anger out and stage dives. A songwriter that’ll have you hummin before the chorus ends and a performer with a stage presence that bewitches.

Originating from The Hague, Netherlands, Dutch/English Kate performs solo and with her gorgeous punkband Chattermag.
