Split concert featuring two solo acts: Tara Pasveer and Sean Bell’s Dowland Downloaded.
Sean Bell presents Dowland Downloaded, a contemporary reworking of John Dowland’s music through DIY electronics and experimental performance. With a self-built electric baroque guitar, cassette loops and countertenor voice, he explores how Dowland’s Renaissance songs transform when shifted from lute to synthesizer, opening new layers of meaning and expression.
Tara Pasveer is an art-pop musician from The Hague who blends voice, electronics and instruments to create surreal, dreamlike soundscapes with English and invented languages. Signed to London label sly-tone, she released her debut EP Og Imtel in 2023 and in 2025 explores a fresher pop sensibility with beats and lyrical themes of love and sensuality. She has toured across Europe, including performances at Rewire Festival and St Pancras Old Church.
