“Lobi Da Basi,” meaning “Love is the boss” in Sranantongo, reflects love as a powerful force, especially within BIPOC queer communities, where love is both radical and healing.
This event creates space to celebrate and connect through music, expression and shared experience. Multiple DJs will represent the sounds of the diaspora. Alongside the music, there will be a tooth gem artist, as well as a clothing exchange and styling corner where attendees can bring, swap and explore both old and new pieces.
This event is created with and for our Queer BIPOC community, and will be held during The Hague Pride.

Faluma is a community platform dedicated to connecting young people of Afro-diaspora backgrounds in the Netherlands. It was created out of the need for a space where Black individuals can feel fully seen, heard, and free. Over time, it has grown into a vibrant BIPOC community centered on connection with a strong focus on inclusivity, intersectionality, and queerness.
