Moving Downstairs [sonic fiction]
Moving downstairs is a bi-monthly program that focuses on concerts, auditory performances and experiments, immersive sound pieces and collective experiences. Depending on the setting, the audience might be seated, standing, dancing, behind a screen, or specifically placed inside the basement of The Grey Space.
Sól Ey (Sóley Sigurjónsdóttir, electronics), Cody Takács (double bass) and Elisabeth Lusche (trumpet) will engage in a sonic conversation, followed by a solo audiovisual performance by Elisabeth.
In this solo performance, Elisabeth uses a collection of images, sounds, and texts to weave a narrative through fixed media and improvisation.
Yunque will round off the evening with a DJ set.
