Music, sound, materiality, playfulness, all your senses at full speed – you’ve never dined like this! Take a seat at our sound table and travel through the senses. This dinner offers you a new window for experiencing the world. Listen! We’re dining!
Are we still connected during the daily ritual of dinner? Are we still really in touch – with the people around us – and with what we eat? What if technology actually makes us be more present in the world that surrounds us on a daily basis? With this theatrical sonic dining session, Fedde & de Carvalho use technology for alternative social interactions around the dining table.
In his search for the best sounding restaurant in the Netherlands, sound artist Fedde designed interactive sonic tables. Everything you touch on this particular dining set makes noise and vibrates through your whole body. With these sonic tables we are inventing a new form of art. To let this new art form reach its full potential – we are currently performing various tests.

Travel with us through all of the senses, experience the wonderful world of eating habits and reconnect with the origin of our food. In this testing phase, you can be one of the first to experience this new art form.
With Listen! We’re dining! we challenge ourselves and our audience to explore what it means to be human in 2022.
You can attend ‘Listen, we’re dining!’ on four occasions in the third weekend of December. Each session consists of 6 courses and includes drinks.
