Haags Verhaal invited The Hague-based literature and spoken word organisations Damesleesmuseum and Het Zwarte Schaap to collaborate for this storytelling event.

The Damesleesmuseum dates back to 1894 and was founded because women were not welcome in libraries at the time. It now houses 46,000 books – managed by volunteers – making it one of the largest private libraries in the Netherlands.
Word art and spoken word platform Het Zwarte Schaap – initiated by Daniëlle Zawadi – started in 2019 and attracts mostly young people for energetic gatherings where spoken word, poetry and storytelling take the central stage.
On Sunday, February 13th, Haags Verhaal brings these two worlds together in this special storytelling event.
