Starting September 1st, 2025, we’re looking for a curious and creative intern to join our team for 20 to 24 hours per week! (This is a 6-month internship)

Note: although this job posting is in English – a basic understanding of Dutch would be helpful for this internship.

The Grey Space in The Middle is a cultural venue in The Hague operating at the intersection of art, club culture, technology, and society. We’re always evolving. Earlier this year, we hired a Marketing Specialist to professionalize the marketing department. The Marketing Specialist works closely with the Content Creator to shape the organization’s long-term strategy and structure.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for someone who’s interested in doing both research and hands-on work. The internship will begin with a research-based project focused on the differentiation between social media platforms, and evolve into a more executive role. Tasks include:

  • Researching platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Spotify Playlists, and WhatsApp groups
  • Exploring online communities The Grey Space could potentially join
  • Photographing and filming during events
  • Reacting to comments and sharing stories on Instagram
  • Creating graphic content for socials in collaboration with the Content Creator
  • Supporting the visibility of our own in-house productions, House Guests

You’ll be expected to attend events at least once or twice a week to create video content for our channels.

Who we’re looking for

  • You are enrolled in an HBO-level program (communication, marketing or design)

  • You live in The Hague and ideally have a small local network

  • You have an interest or experience in photography, video, or graphic design

  • You’re proactive, independent, and excited to explore and experiment

  • You are creative and are open to communicate well within our team
